Brand Management

Create and manage brand profiles with voice, tone, pillars, and visual identity.

Your brand profile is the foundation of everything Brandmanna creates. Every piece of content — ideas, drafts, images, plans — draws from the identity you define here. The more complete your brand profile, the more accurate and on-brand your AI output will be.

Brand Basics

When you create a new brand, you start with the essentials:

  • Brand Name — your company or personal brand name
  • Industry — helps the AI understand your market context
  • Mission — your brand's purpose and what you stand for
  • Target Audience — who you are creating content for

To create a brand, go to the Brands page and click "Create Brand". You can also import a brand from a website URL (see Brand Import below).

Voice and Tone

Your brand voice defines how your content sounds. This is the personality behind your writing — whether it is playful and bold, professional and formal, or somewhere in between.

When setting up your voice and tone:

  1. Go to the Brands page and select your brand
  2. Open the Voice & Tone section
  3. Describe your brand's personality in natural language (e.g., "Confident but approachable, uses short punchy sentences, avoids jargon")
  4. Use "Polish with AI" to refine your voice description if needed

The AI references your voice description for every generation, ensuring consistency across all platforms and content types.

Messaging

Define your core messaging to keep every piece of content aligned with your strategic goals:

  • Primary Value Proposition — the main benefit you offer
  • Secondary Value Proposition — supporting benefits or differentiators
  • Tagline — your brand's signature phrase

Visual Identity

Set your brand's visual foundation so the AI can generate on-brand images and design briefs:

  • Primary Color — your main brand color
  • Secondary Color — your supporting color
  • Accent Color — for highlights and CTAs
  • Logo — upload your brand logo

These colors are used when generating AI images, carousel PDFs, and Design Briefs for Canva.

Content Pillars

Content pillars are strategic themes that organize your content (e.g., "Thought Leadership", "Customer Stories", "Behind the Scenes"). They ensure your content has variety and purpose rather than being random.

  • You can define up to 5 pillars per brand (2-5 recommended)
  • Each pillar includes a name, usage guide, and examples
  • Click "Generate Pillars" to let the AI create pillars based on your brand context
  • The AI uses your pillars when generating content to produce more focused, strategically aligned ideas

Audience Personas

Audience personas let you define detailed demographic and behavioral profiles for your target audience. Create up to 3 personas per brand on the Creator plan, or up to 10 on the Studio plan.

Each persona helps the AI tailor content to specific audience segments, improving relevance and engagement.

This is a Creator+ feature — available on the Creator, Studio, and Enterprise plans.

Brand Don'ts

Guard rails for your content. Define what the AI should avoid:

  • Topics to avoid — sensitive subjects or off-limits areas
  • Words to avoid — specific terms that do not fit your brand
  • Tones to avoid — communication styles that clash with your identity

The AI checks these constraints during every generation to keep your content on-brand.

Brand Enrichment

Brand Enrichment analyzes your existing drafts to learn your vocabulary, style, and patterns. The more content you create and refine, the more the AI learns about your preferences.

  1. Go to your brand profile
  2. Click "Enrich Brand"
  3. The AI scans your edited drafts and extracts recurring patterns
  4. Future generations reflect these learned preferences

Run Brand Enrichment periodically as you build up a library of refined content.

Brand Import

Skip manual setup by importing your brand identity from a website URL:

  1. On the Brands page, click "Import from URL"
  2. Enter your website address
  3. The AI extracts your brand name, voice, messaging, colors, logo, and other identity elements
  4. Review the imported profile and adjust anything that needs fine-tuning

This is the fastest way to get started if you already have a website that reflects your brand.

Duplicate Brand

Click the copy icon on any brand card to duplicate the entire profile — voice, messaging, colors, pillars, and all settings. This is useful when you manage multiple brands with similar foundations, or when you want to experiment with variations of your brand identity.

Archive and Unarchive

If you are no longer actively using a brand but want to keep it for reference:

  1. Click the archive icon on the brand card
  2. The brand moves to the Archived tab and no longer appears in your main brand list
  3. All drafts, plans, and content associated with the brand remain intact
  4. To restore it, go to the Archived tab and click the unarchive icon
