Connect Your Social Accounts
Set up publishing to LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
Brandmanna lets you publish content directly to your social media accounts. Connect your accounts once, and you can publish or schedule posts from any draft without leaving the platform.
Supported Platforms
You can connect accounts on four social platforms:
| Platform | Connection Method |
|---|---|
| OAuth (personal profile and company pages) | |
| OAuth | |
| Twitter/X | OAuth |
| OAuth (page selection) |
All connections use OAuth, which means you authorize Brandmanna through each platform's official login flow. Brandmanna never sees or stores your social media passwords.
How to Connect Your Accounts
There are two places to connect social accounts:
Option 1: From Account Settings
- Click your profile icon in the top navigation and go to Account Settings.
- Scroll to the Publishing section.
- Click "Manage Connections".
- Select the platform you want to connect.
- Complete the OAuth authorization flow — you will be redirected to the platform to grant access.
- Once authorized, you will be returned to Brandmanna with the account connected.
Option 2: From the Brands Page
- Go to the Brands page and select your brand.
- Open the Publishing tab.
- Click the connect button for the platform you want to add.
- Complete the OAuth flow as described above.
Platform-Specific Notes
LinkedIn: When you connect LinkedIn, Brandmanna imports your personal profile and all company pages you administer. You can publish to any of them.
Facebook: When you connect Facebook, a page selection dialog appears so you can choose which Facebook pages to link.
Instagram and Twitter/X: Standard OAuth connection. Authorize access and you are ready to publish.
How Publishing Works
Once your accounts are connected, publishing is straightforward:
Publish Immediately
- Open any draft on the Content page.
- Click "Publish".
- If you have multiple connected accounts for that platform (e.g., a personal LinkedIn profile and a company page), select which account to use.
- Brandmanna sends the post to the platform and polls for confirmation. This may take a few seconds.
- Once confirmed, you will see a link to view the live post on the platform.
Schedule for Later
- Open any draft and go to the scheduling section.
- Set a publish date and time with your preferred timezone.
- Save the schedule.
- Brandmanna auto-publishes at the scheduled time to your connected account.
You can cancel a scheduled post at any time before it publishes.
Track Post Status
Every draft has a status that updates as it moves through the publishing flow:
- Unpublished — The draft has not been scheduled or published.
- Scheduled — A future publish date/time has been set.
- Publishing — The post is being sent to the platform.
- Published — The post is live. You will see a link to view it on the platform.
Publishing with Content Plans
If you are using Content Plans, you can batch-schedule all approved drafts in a plan at once. This is especially useful for campaigns where you have multiple posts that need to go out on a coordinated timeline.
The plan journey includes a dedicated Schedule step where you can review and schedule all approved packs with their target publish dates.
Publishing Limits
The number of posts you can publish per month depends on your subscription tier:
| Tier | Publications per Month |
|---|---|
| Free | 5 |
| Creator | 60 (~2 per day) |
| Studio | 500 |
| Enterprise | Unlimited |
When you reach your monthly limit, you will see an upgrade prompt. Limits reset on the 1st of each month.
Disconnecting an Account
To remove a connected social account:
- Go to Account Settings > Publishing > "Manage Connections".
- Find the account you want to disconnect.
- Click the disconnect or remove option.
Disconnecting an account does not delete any of your drafts or previously published posts. It only removes Brandmanna's ability to publish to that account going forward.
Alternative Ways to Publish
If you prefer not to connect your social accounts, Brandmanna offers several export options for manual posting:
- Copy All (Ready to Post) — Copies the full post text, CTA, and hashtags to your clipboard. Paste directly into any platform.
- Open Platform — Opens the platform's posting interface in a new tab.
- Export to Google Docs — Creates a Google Doc with your content for sharing and collaboration.
- Design Brief for Canva — Generates visual design instructions for your designer or Canva's AI tools.
- Download as PDF — For LinkedIn Carousel drafts, exports slides as branded PDF pages.
- Send to Connected Apps — Triggers a webhook to send your draft to Zapier, Make.com, n8n, or any HTTP endpoint.
See Export for full details on all export options.
Auto-Schedule with Content Calendar
If you are on the Creator tier or higher, you have access to the Content Calendar — a visual week and month view for managing your content schedule.
From the calendar, you can:
- Drag and drop drafts to reschedule them to different dates.
- Click any empty day to open a Quick Draft modal where you can generate a new draft with AI or write one manually. The draft auto-schedules for 9am on the selected date.
- View content distribution across platforms and pillars to spot gaps in your schedule.
- Subscribe via iCal — generate a unique iCal feed URL and add it to Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook to see your Brandmanna schedule alongside your personal calendar.
The calendar is particularly useful when combined with Content Plans, where you can see all your planned and scheduled content in one place.
Troubleshooting
My OAuth connection failed. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the account. Make sure you are logged into the correct social media account in your browser before starting the OAuth flow.
I do not see my company page after connecting LinkedIn. LinkedIn imports all company pages you administer. If a page is missing, verify that your LinkedIn account has admin access to that page, then disconnect and reconnect.
My scheduled post did not publish. Check that the connected account is still active in Account Settings > Publishing. OAuth tokens can expire if you change your social media password or revoke access on the platform side.
