Features

Export Options

Export your content to Google Docs, PDF, Canva design briefs, and more.

Every draft in Brandmanna can be exported in multiple formats. Click the Export button on any draft to see all available options.

Copy All (Ready to Post)

Copies the full post text, CTA, and hashtags to your clipboard in one click. The content is formatted and ready to paste directly into any social platform's posting interface.

Copy as Markdown

Copies your draft content with frontmatter metadata including platform, date, hashtags, and CTA. This format is useful for importing into CMS tools, static site generators, or note-taking apps that support Markdown.

Download as Plain Text

Saves the draft as a .txt file to your device. Useful for archiving or sharing content outside of digital tools.

Email Draft

Opens your default email client with the draft content pre-loaded in the email body. Use this to quickly share a draft with a colleague or client for informal feedback.

Export to Google Docs

Creates a new Google Doc with your draft content and opens it in a new browser tab. This is useful for collaborative editing, long-form review, or archiving content in Google Drive.

Requirements

You must be logged into Brandmanna with a Google account for this feature to work.

  1. If you see a "Google account required" error, log out of Brandmanna.
  2. Log back in using Google OAuth (the "Sign in with Google" option).
  3. Try the export again.

Once authenticated, Google Docs export works with a single click.

Design Brief for Canva

Generates an AI-powered visual design brief based on your draft content. The brief includes detailed instructions that you or your designer can use to create accompanying visuals.

The design brief covers:

  • Canvas size -- platform-specific dimensions (e.g., 1080x1350 for Instagram, 1200x627 for LinkedIn)
  • Layout recommendations -- suggested composition and element placement
  • Color guidance -- palette suggestions based on your brand colors
  • Typography -- font style and hierarchy recommendations
  • Visual composition tips -- mood, imagery direction, and design style

How to use it

  1. Click Design Brief for Canva in the Export modal.
  2. Review the generated brief.
  3. Copy it to your clipboard or download it as a text file.
  4. Paste the brief into Canva's AI design tools, or share it with your designer as a creative direction document.

Download as PDF

Available for LinkedIn Carousel drafts only. Exports your carousel slides as a branded PDF with each slide rendered at 1080x1350 px -- the standard carousel format for LinkedIn.

This gives you a ready-to-upload PDF file that you can post directly to LinkedIn as a document post (carousel format).

Open Platform

For supported platforms, this option opens the platform's native posting interface in a new browser tab. You can then paste your content directly. This is useful when you prefer to use the platform's own composer or need to access features not available through direct publishing.

iCal Calendar Feed

While not a per-draft export, Brandmanna offers an iCal subscription feed for your content calendar. This lets you view your scheduled content alongside your personal calendar.

  1. Go to the Content Calendar.
  2. Click the calendar subscription button.
  3. Copy the generated iCal feed URL.
  4. Add it to Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook.

Changes sync approximately every hour. You can regenerate the URL at any time (which invalidates old subscriptions) or revoke all subscriptions.
